Terms and Conditions restaurant El Qatarijne
All agreements entered into and services provided by us (Sens B.V., trading under the name and hereinafter referred to as El Qatarijne) are subject to the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH, version from 2024). The following terms apply in addition. These terms and conditions follow the definitions in article 1 of the UVH.
Article 1 Quotations
Quotations are valid for 14 days. If no response is received to a quotation, the quotation and any options will expire.
Article 2 Payment Terms
- For groups of up to 10 people, we require a deposit of € 250.
- For groups of up to 20 people, we require a deposit of € 500.
- For groups of 30 people or more, we require a deposit of € 750.
The deposit must be paid into our bank account at least 1 week before the reserved date.
The final invoice, after deduction of the deposit, will be drawn up based on actual consumption and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.
Article 3 Prices and Price Adjustments
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the prices in a quotation or reservation confirmation are based on the prices applicable at that time. El Qatarijne reserves the right to increase agreed prices as a result of unforeseen cost increases, including but not limited to purchasing, energy or labor costs. If prices have increased after the reservation date, the new current prices apply to the reserved services or products.
Article 4 Changes to Number of Guests
Changes to guest numbers must be communicated to us in writing by email or by telephone at least 24 hours before the scheduled time and date in order to reduce the number of guests without charge.
Article 5 Cancellation
4.1 The following cancellation conditions apply to restaurant reservations:
- For groups of fewer than 10 people, cancellation is possible free of charge up to 24 hours before the time and date of the reservation.
- For groups of 10 to 19 people, cancellation is possible free of charge up to 36 hours before the time and date of the reservation.
- For groups of 20 people or more, cancellation is possible free of charge up to 48 hours before the time and date of the reservation.
If cancellation is not made in time, a cancellation fee equal to the amount of the required deposit will be due.
4.2 A cancellation is only valid if made in writing by email or by telephone.
Article 6 Media and Copyright
All media rights to recordings made in the restaurant, in the broadest sense of the word, remain with El Qatarijne. The guest and/or group expressly waives any claim to these rights. With regard to all services and products supplied by El Qatarijne, El Qatarijne reserves all rights and powers to which it is entitled under copyright law. If El Qatarijne uses visual material, it will ensure that guests are unrecognizable unless written permission has been given by the guest.
Article 7 Liability
El Qatarijne accepts no liability for the consequences of typesetting, typing or programming errors on the El Qatarijne website or in other publications.
